The cast of The Full Monty did it every
night… but how many actors would dare to go bare in the name
of art? We ask Sean Bean, Martin Clunes, Brenda Blethyn and Denise
van Outen to reveal all.
Sean's reply: "I don't think I would ever appear naked on
stage, no. I always think it looks a bit strange to be honest.
It's extremely distracting - I suppose that's the point, but for
some reason it doesn't ring true. Without meaning to sound prudish,
I always find it a strange experience and it's almost too much
and too in your face. I think it's much more alluring if there
is something left to the imagination."
