Sean - Keep me posted
Another side celebrating a memorable win this week were Sheffield
United, which delighted their most famous fan Sean Bean.
He's currently appearing as MacBeth at the Albery Theatre in London and was baited by his fellow cast members who arrived for work on the night of the game dressed in Liverpool shirts.
But keeping up with the news of the semi-final at Bramall Lane proved a problem - you can hardly go on stage with a sword in one hand and a radio in the other.
To get round this I understand the cast considered using a series of handsignals to let Sean know the score while he was on stage. Sadly the plan didn't work out.
Another option was to have the messenger arrive in Act V not to point out that Birnham Wood was on the move, but to announce that Michael Tonge had popped up with two in the last 10 minutes.
Sadly that idea was rejected as well.
But at least the news was good when the star finally got back
to his dressing room - the only trouble now is what do to for
the second leg.
