No.72 Sean Bean £2.2 million Last year's position: 68 Age 44. All the stars of The Lord of the Rings got hefty bonuses following the phenomenal success of the trilogy. Unfortunately for Sean, his character, Boromir, was killed off in the first film, The Fellowship of the Ring, so he 'only' received an extra payment of £500,000 - less than some of his co-stars. He's reunited with Orlando Bloom in the epic movie Troy, out this year. He's also filmed National Treasure, and he's lined up for Pride. Add on his TV earnings and the money that comes in from the repeats of Sharpe. |
