Movie superstar Sean Bean is joining the board of Sheffield United.
The lifelong Blade who proudly carries a tattoo - 100% Blade - on his left shoulder is also set to invest in the club.
Kevin McCabe, acting chairman of Sheffield United plc said: "Sean is excited with our plans for the future of the club - we are delighted that another true Blade has joined the board of the football club.
"Sean loves the Blades and he's not afraid of telling the world about his support - there cannot be too many soccer clubs who have such a high profile ambassador and fan."
For Sean, 43 next month, it is a dream come true. Film and television commitments permitting, he watches the club home and away.
Last year he officially opened United's Hall of Fame - a celebration of more than 100 years of Blades history. The film, When Saturday Comes, featured Sean taking a penalty in front of his beloved Kop at the Bramall Lane ground.
After leaving school in Sheffield with just two O levels, he went on to an art course at Rotherham before beating off the challenge of 11,000 others to gain a place at RADA.
His film and TV exploits include the blockbuster Lord of the Rings, Goldeneye, Patriot Games, Sharpe and Lady Chatterley.
