Tony Booth (Frank Palmer) Tony was born in Liverpool and went into films and television after years of repertory and a stint in the armed forces in Paris. He will always be remembered as the warring son-in-law in the classic Til Death Us Do Part. He has featured or starred in the West End in Life of the Party and No Time for Sergeants. He was also seen as Tommy in Priests, a film by the acclaimed writer Jimmy McGovern and directed by the award winning Antonia Bird. Tony recently appeared in the BBC drama Jack of Hearts. 1997 saw the publication of his biography A Labour of Love. His hobbies include politics and racing, "but not necessarily in that order!" Tony commented on the project: "I was very keen to work with Sean, ever since before Sharpe. Plus he's a good old football fan!"
