Movie star Sean Bean was taught SAS secrets by bestselling author Andy McNab as filming began on the £4 million TV version of Bravo Two Zero.
Bean, 39, plays unit commander McNab in the BBC1 project and is learning the skills of desert survival and silent killing from the soldier turned writer.
McNab, 37, has already put the Sharp star through basic fitness training and will tell Bean how he survived weeks of torture at the hands of Iraqi interrogators.
