LORD BEAN OF BLADES
LORD of the Rings star Sean Bean is Lord of the Blades after buying a slice of his home-town football team.
The 43-year-old actor stood on the terraces to watch Sheffield United as a boy and has "100 per cent Blade" tattooed on his shoulder.
He starred in low-budget film When Saturday Comes as a Sheffield United striker who scored a winning goal against Manchester United.
Now, as a director, he is to inject cash into the club as it bids to join the Premiership.
